Playstation 3 worth it?

I own an Xbox 360, wii and a PC (dough) however i never really like the ps3 because they stole alot of things from other consoles however after staying at my m8s house for 3 days i was enjoying ps3 and now i might think of buying it for xmas.

I need your help cos im not sure if the ps3 is a good console.

I think so 2 in most ways except online xbox live is so much better in my opinion.

Now that ps3 prices have gone down i think its going to be top of my wish list .

I have many consoles, and out of all of them, I definatley think the PS3 is one of the best, and if you can, you should definately get one

PS3 hard drive very easily user upgrade. Sony even includes directions in manual. Upgraded my 40G to a 250G and was formatted and running in 15 minutes. Loads of room for media content besides games (music, videos, movies...)

When was the last time you heard of the 'red ring of death' on a PS3?

Blu-Ray!, HD-DVD is offically DEAD. PS3 is cheaper than most stand alone blu-ray players and you get game console. It is also network ready so when blu-ray standards are upgraded, it can be also.

i own a uk 60gb ps3 that i have upgraded my harddrive to a 320gb, the games and movies are the best and all your online gaming is FREE unlike most other consoles, i have owned loads of consoles over the years and im sticking with my ps3 as it rocks..

the ps3 is fantastic on hd tv,i had all the consoles and they cant compete
