Get past the mana Sanctuary easily - after you go past the gold statue and the hot house head (by screen)north, east, south, west, west, north. Hint: Black Enemies Fight and kill the same type of enemy 1,000 times consecutively. Afterwards, all enemies of that type will be black and will be tougher to kill, though they drop better items and experience.
