Major League Baseball Featuring Ken Griffey Jr Cheats for Nintendo 64

No Hit Pitch

Place the crosshair anywhere outside the yellow batting circle and hold it there. Then, hold Z and press C-Up, C-Left, or C-Right to look at one of the bases. Now release Z, then release the other button. The crosshair will disappear from the pitching screen. Select and throw any pitch, which will always be a strike or a ball. This is always unhittable.
Fireworks
Enter View Stadium mode by pressing Z. While choosing your stadium, press Z+R simultaneously to launch fireworks.


Move the Baseball on the Title Screen
To move the baseball on the title screen, hold Z and move the analog stick.


New Uniforms
In a exhibition game at team select to play ball then press all 4 C- buttons repeatly. This will change the color of the home teams uniform.


Reset the Aimer of the Opponents Pitcher
When the ball is about to be thrown for a pitch by the opposite team, press START on your controller. Then press the B button to return back to the game. If done correctly, the pitchers aimer will be inside your hit circle. This DOES NOT mean that the pitch will go directly down the center, the pitch may curve off from the center. This code just tells you where the ball will be aimed as the pitcher releases it.


Track the Ball
When youre up at bat, hold B and your circle will move to where the ball is going to be. As soon as it moves let go and now you can swing at it.


View Ending
First choose to play an exibition and then choose the teams. (The home team will be the one that wins the series.) When you come to pick ballpark screen, simaltaneously press all four C-buttons continuosly until you hear a chime. Then press Z and sit back and watch the celebration.


Easy Home Run
When Griffey is up to bat, if you hear him say "Im Back", then wait for a good pitch.¿If you get one that is up in the strike zone and you hit it well, he will hit a home run almost every time.¿Be sure to not swing at a bad pitch if you hear him say this. Fastballs are best to hit.


Bonus Teams
At the main menu, highlight EXHIBITION, then press all four C- buttons repeatedly until you hear a beep. Now go to the All-Star teams and youll find Nintendo and Angel Studios.


View Computer Pitchers Status
When playing against the computer, you can see the status (pitch selection/fatigue level) of its pitcher by pressing R on Controller Two.


Switch your Uniform Colors
After you hit a homerun on the road wait for it to show your team in the dugout cheering for you then press A and you will see the oppenents colors on your jersey.


Steal Bases More Easily
To steal bases more easily press the lead off button three times. Then wait until the pitcher winds up, as soon as he does, press the lead off button one more time to steal the base. Doing this with a player of adequate speed will allow you get such a jump that the catcher wont even attempt to throw you out.


Quicker Throws
To throw the ball quicker, hold down the C-button for the base you want to throw to before you catch the ball. That way youll toss it off immediately.


Called Homeruns
When Ken Griffey Jr. is up at bat, pause the game and press Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left on the d-pad. Unpause the game and Griffey will point his bat towards the outfield. If you hit the very next pitch it will be a home run.


View Opponents Line-up
To view your opponents line-up, press C-DOWN at the line-up screen.

NOTE: You will not be able to see it if you dont have a game the next day. This also works with your bullpen.


Rested Pitchers
If your pitcher is tired, drop him into free agency, then go right back to free agency and pick him up.

NOTE: Dont do this if he is injured.


Angels in the Outfield
Wait for your opponent to hit a pop-fly to the outfield but dont catch it. Instead, pick it up, hold Z, and press C-up to run it in. Then press the following C buttons to throw to bases: RIGHT, UP, LEFT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, DOWN, RIGHT, UP, LEFT, DOWN. You should hear the crowd boo. On the next hit, dont get the ball. Instead, repeatedly hit A or B and your player will fly.


Dancing Players
If youre pitching or batting, press the following buttons on the control PAD (not the stick) to dance: UP, UP, DOWN, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT, DOWN, UP, UP.


Stealth Pitch
While pitching, move the cursor anywhere inside the strike zone exept in the middle and hold it there. Then press Z and Right-C at the same time. Let go of Z first, then C. Both cursors should have disapeared!


Exploding Batter
When you are batting, press R, L, U, D, R, L, U, D, R, L, U, D on the D-pad. Keep repeating this sequence until the batter explodes.


Control Your Pitches
Enter an Exhibition and play against your buddy or computer (the code works better on your friends.) Choose your pitch by pressing "R" now select your pitch. Now pitch the ball and push your joystick in any direction. Hold it there and you will notice the pitch drifts.


Unhitable Pitch
Move the pitching square anywhere you want than look to any base and let go of Z first than the C button (while still holding the control stick in place). If you did this correctly you will see no pitching square or the batters circle, if so you can let go of the control stick. Then chose your pitch (a change up or super change up will be best so you dont tire out your pitcher) then the batter will eather swing and miss or just stay there (If you put it in the batters circle then the batte might hit the ball).


Homerun everytime
When using Ken Griffey in a regular game(not the home run derby) hit the control pad (not the analog) in the following order: left,left,right,right,right,left,left. If done correctly Griffey will point his bat to the stands and hit a home run everytime.
