Tap [Shift] + V during the introduction sequence during the Thargoid attack on the Turner and Viper Mk II. Alternate starting point Press 1 before starting a new game to begin at Ross 154, with 100 credits, and an Eagle Mk II. Profitable route Start at Sol, and sell all your equipment except for the auto-pilot, nav computer, and atmospheric shielding. Purchase enough fuel units to reach Bernards Star. Fill the remaining cargo space with luxury goods. Fly to Bernards Star and go to a station (Miller Depot). Sell all the cargo. Purchase enough fuel units to return to Sol. Fill the remaining cargo space with robots or computers. Return to Sol and sell the cargo for a large profit by finding special buyers on the bulletin board. Repeat this route to build your profit. Screen dump Press (Print Screen) to save the current screen as a .BMP file. Skip default commander Press 5 before starting a new game to display the loading commander screen. Press 4 before starting a new game to use the last saved commander.
