Clear the game once on any difficulty to unlock: Very Hard Difficulty Survival Mode Special Mission Mode Adjutant Voice Select (training only) Enemy Layout Select (training only) Hint: Fast Freaking Research Research is based on the amount of times a stage is cleared in the story or training modes. Although you can do this stage-farming trick with any stage, the easiest (and fastest) one is the second training stage. After you escape Japan with (or without) Admiral Tsukagi, you can speedily research your tech tree by repeatedly finishing that second training stage with a fast (60 knots or better) ship, since you only need to destroy the three radar stations and escape to the south map. Alternately, if youre inclined for even faster finishes, you can repeatedly destroy the Archeopteryx with a ship completely devoted to anti-air combat on automatic mode (on Very Easy or Easy). You can even skip picking up the parts from the boss and withdraw from combat immediately after the boss is destroyed. Hint - Tech Upgrades In order to unlock some parts in the game you may need to find the parts itself ,this parts usually located in secret bases. this base located secretly and difficult to find but there always a way. Secret bases are usually found as: Land base. Located usually in the corner of the map or non particular locations (a location without enemies or buildings but this is not always). Floating bases. Located usually same as land bases but sometimes nearby friendly ports. Cargo Planes. This is pretty difficult to find it can move from directions of map to locate this you must see the map (start button) and notice a single yellow node moving alone from non particular locations Yu-Class or Penguin-Class Transports. The easiest secrets to obtain, its visible on radar and easy to destroy but usually there are more than one and theres only one of them does contain the real secret parts located usually in the corner side of the map (can be every where!). Submerged base. The most difficult to find since they are located undersea. The only way to locate the base is equip yourself with digital enhancemet vision (destroy 500 battleships to unlock) and explore the map or equip yourself with at least a scout aircraft or anti submarine copters and use them to locate and pick up the part. Therere secret bases which can only be obtained after you cleared the game and play it once more.
