Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists of the Roses Cheats for Playstation 2

The recent rash of Yu-Gi-Oh! videogames have allowed card-slinging aficianados the opportunity to expand their mastery of the game into the electronic arena. The transition to videogames has been grand. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists of the Roses, the first Playstation 2 offering in the series, adequately captures the spirit of the game, while capitalizing on next generation graphics and addictive gameplay.

Unlock Reincarnate
By surrendering five times or getting five wins, you will be able to reincarnate a card in your chest to allow you to build your deck. Press L3 to use reincarnate.

You can reincarnate more than three cards with this trick - when you get to the point of reincarnating cards, copy your game to a second memory card.

Now continue using the copied game (memory card 2) and reincarnate a card. Save your game and exit. Place both the copied save game and the original saved game in the PlayStation 2 and trade the reincarnated cards from the copy to the original. You now have three new cards, and still can reincarnate a card.

Unlock Map Edit Mode
To unlock Map Edit Mode in Custom Battle, beat both the White and Red Rose story modes.

Extra Monster Movement Tip
When any monster earns a terrain field boost, turn it face up and it can move two squares instead of one.

Hint: Get All 3 Parts of the GateGuardian
To obtain all 3 parts of the GateGuardian, first get Seiyaryu using this code: 2H4D85J7. Then win or surrender 5 duels so you may reincarnate a card. Reincarnate Seiyaryu. This will give you Suijin, Kazejin, and Sanga of Thunder. They all have deck costs over 50 so be sure to make enough room for them.

Not exactly a cheat but, it will help some people. When dueling the last guy on yugis side beat his Dark Elf and get it into the slots. Then, match three of them in the middle. You will get a Blue Eyes White Dragon. It only works once.
