Start the game with the arcade disc, switch to Beat Mania Append 3rd Mix (or Beat Mania Append Gottamix), then switch to Beat Mania Append 4th Mix. Special Course in expert mode: Successfully complete hard mode. Another Course in expert mode and Lounge song: Successfully complete hard mode five times. Horrible Course in expert mode: Successfully complete hard mode ten times. Bonus Course in expert mode: Successfully complete Another Course or Horrible Course. Alternately, Successfully complete hard mode twenty times. Dance Pop song: Successfully complete hard mode with no losses. Deep House song: Successfully complete expert mode. Alternate song versions in hard mode: Hold Select in hard mode. Some songs have an alternate version.
