Normal moves:

L1
: Long pass or change player centering.
R1
: Hold while entering the special moves.
L2
: Left spin while shooting.
R2
: Right spin while shooting.

When the ball is in the air, press Square
or X
to perform some "air moves" (over head kick, head shot, etc.)

Special moves:

When controlling the player with the ball, press L1

to perform a "standard" special move. Special moves should be perform at a certain distance from the goal (varies among players). When the goalkeeper is facing a special move, hold L1

at the same time will help save the ball. Certain goalkeepers are better at saving special moves,"Double Kick" (DK) shots require two or more characters(one human, one or more computer controlled) to perform a move together. It requires the computer player to be nearby when performing such move. The required player will be stated.

Hint: Story mode games that can be lost:

When story mode is selected, you will play several matches that do not have to be won. For example, when you lead Inter Milan with Shingo Aoi and play against Juventus with Gentile, you can have two different FMV sequences if you lose or win, but the game will continue. Matches that can be lost are:#1 The second match when you control Inter Milan vs. Juventus

#2 The 3 matches against Real Japan Seven (RJ7).
If #1 was lost, you will not have the opportunity to meet the Street team during the story. Moreover, several new teams will not be available as Argentine, Italy, France, etc., when ending the story. Do not forget to save your part after winning a match.

Hint: Hidden teams playable after ending the game:

France, Argentine, Italy, Germany, Japan, Inter Milan with a weak level (for the players as Pierre Leblanc in France team for example) are available after finishing the whole game. Others teams such as the World team and the Street team can be used in Vs mode.

Hint: Play with the same team:

To play with the same team cooperatively or against the CPU, replay the last match against the World team. Save the match versus RJ7 to avoid replaying all the matches. After watching the greetings and credits, go the versus mode and choose the same teams.
