As the dog days of summer pass by, one cant help but think of football. Whether youre an athlete or a fan, you just cant beat the passion found in collegiate football. Theres something about watching your alma mater defeating a long-time rival; the NFL just doesnt come close. With the latest edition of NCAA Football out, IGN Guides is here with an excellent guide to lead you and your team to the NCAA Championship. Grab your helmet and jock, and lets hit the field! In this NCAA Football 08 Strategy Guide, youll find: Cheat: Use Injured Players To use injured players while in Dynasty Mode, simply start the game as normal and play through the first kickoff, pausing the game and restarting thereafter. This will restart the game, and miraculously, your injured players will be able to play. (This has only been verified on the PS2 version). Unlockable: Big Game Trophies By playing in specific games, you can unlock the trophies below. Teams appear to only have to play one another, and not necessarily appear as the home or away team. Hint: Receiver Mismatch If youre looking for an edge in a close game (or at anytime, really), try moving your best receiver to the number three spot on your depth chart. This will only work in a three or more receiver set, but if you manage to do this, your best receiver will sometimes be covered by a weaker linebacker, cornerback, or safety.
